I have been racing for 35+ years, from HPDE and autocross to karting to formula cars and endurance racing, with podium finishes at Summit Point, VIR and PittRace (to name a few) and laps at circuits like the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Pannoniaring, Hockenheim and Monza.

Every one of those weekends had the same problem. Budgeting and setups tended to be captured on paper or a one-off spreadsheet. Tracking information was difficult and entirely manual, the parts list lived in my head, and the actual costs came in the form of a pile of receipts. When I stated an endurance racing team, things got muddier as I tried to manage driver rotations, ensuring seat time was equal among drivers on the fly when problems arose, and trying to figure out who paid, or should pay, what. So I built the tools I wanted: planners, trackers and checklists that match how a race weekend really runs.

The Motorsportsoft suite is all those tools, in one app, for racers at every level, at a price that grassroots racers can afford.

Supporting a cause

Motorsportsoft is a Liberty Peak Group LLC of Virginia product. We are proud to support Warriors2Racers (W2R) and the Veterans Motorsport Training Center (VMTC). W2R is a charity that helps veterans leverage motorsport to find opportunities for camaraderie and mental health improvements through driver and crew development. VMTC is a combined online and in-person school providing training in ASE certifications, motorsport driving knowledge, racecar fabrication, and team management. The school is open to anyone but discounts are provided to veterans, W2R full members, and underserved youth working with W2R.

FAQs

What is Motorsportsoft?
A racing app with planning, data, maintenance, checklist and career tools for drivers, crew chiefs and team owners.

Is it really free to start?
Yes. The racing résumé tool is free. Every paid tool also has a 7-day free trial.

What happens after the free trial?
Your subscription starts through Google Play, the Apple Store, or Stripe if via web purchase unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime in the app - just go to the "Plans" page via the "Manage Subscriptions" link on the Profile page.

Do I have to buy everything?
No. Subscribe to a single tool, or choose a bundle if you want several at a lower combined price. (If you go with the annual premium plan, you can save up to 66% over getting the tools individually)

What if I own a tool and later buy a bundle that includes it?
Both work side by side. Nothing breaks and your data stays where it is. It is, however, best to cancel the individual tool subscription and then purchase the bundle to prevent potential duplicate charges. Data on the server is kept for 30 days so you have plenty of time to make the swap over.

Which devices does it work on?
The primary location is via the web. Android and Apple iOS versions are pending release.

Is there an annual plan?
Yes, with savings of about 30% compared with paying monthly.

Can I use it for more than one car or driver?
Yes. Multi-car plans are available for event planners.

Can I export my data?
Yes. Many of the tools feature an export button - usually on the summary tab.

Who owns my data?
You do. Your racing data stays yours. The tools use it only so analysis can be run against it, and the developer can access it only to verify that results and functions are working correctly. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
